I have managed to get my hands on a really old CB radio. It’s a Kaiser CBX40. Runs UK40 FM freqencies. Its a bit battered and bruised but a good clean up and it will be as good as new. It powers up and the screen and channel selection works but no sound. need to strip it down to take a look at it but though i would post up. Any of you remember this Well I decided to take it apart to see what makes this think tick and see if there was anything obvious making it not work. Well lets just say its more complicated than i initially thought. Well beyond my expertise which is a shame as I would love to have this restored. Any one point me in the right direction? It appears the antenna connection and the metal plate has been bodged.
